Hanneke is the Founder of Buzz Kidz and the Franchisor. She also serves as Managing Director of Buzz Kidz and The Buzz Foundation NPC.

Keryn du Preez
Keryn du Preez is the owner of Buzz Kidz Fourways in Gauteng which spans across Fourways, Lonehill, Douglasdale and surrounds. She studied drama at Rhodes University where she specialised in Acting and Educational Drama and Theatre.
While Keryn started out in the performing arts world, her career has spanned a multitude of sectors in various capacities, including adult training and facilitation, communications and commercial management. Leading Buzz Fourways is a ‘coming home’ of sorts, and an opportunity to positively shape young minds and hearts.
Pretoria East
Elaine Naudé
Elaine Naudé is the co-owner of Buzz Kidz Pretoria East. She holds a B-tech degree in Drama from the Tshwane University of Technology, where she specialised in educational and children’s theatre.
She is a qualified adjudicator and public speaking coach. She adores children and has a strong passion to invest in the youth of today to impact them and help shape the future leaders of the world.
Lizahn Bester
Lizahn Bester is the co-owner of Buzz Kidz Pretoria East. She studied drama at the Tshwane University of Technology, where she specialised in Educational Theatre and Dance.
She has vast experience in children’s theatre, with her company, Redhead Productions. She loves interacting with kids in a theatrical fun way.

Linzi Isaacs
Linzi Isaacs is the owner of Buzz Kidz Constantiaberg which spans across Wynberg, Constantia, Tokai and Muizenberg in Cape Town.
With an Honours qualification in Industrial and Organisational Psychology, Linzi brings a unique blend of expertise to the business.
She’s a proud mother of two wonderful boys who have inspired her to make a difference in her community. Linzi‘s passion for people and her unwavering commitment to creating a positive impact have been the driving forces behind her journey.

Alexander du Plessis
Alexander du Plessis is the owner of Buzz Kidz Table Bay which spans from Malmesbury to Century City.
Alexander graduated from the University of Cape Town in English and Theatre & Performance in 2005. Since then, he has worked in the arts as a director, producer, editor and actor for stage and screen.
He has also worked in education in the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Taiwan and South Africa teaching across a range of ages and special needs schools.
Alexander believes that creativity is the most powerful tool through which we can change society. He believes that Buzz is a life transforming tool that gives children the bandwidth to dream big, and become leaders and change makers.

Deborah Polonsky
Deborah is the owner of Buzz Kidz Bay which spans from Camps Bay, across Hout Bay, Kommetjie and Noordhoek to Kalk Bay in the beautiful Cape Town, South Africa.
Having always found expression in drama and movement, Deborah believes wholeheartedly in the values of thee modalities for children. She studied Integrative Arts Psychotherapy in London, UK, focusing on movement, poetry and play. Deborah has gone on to further studies in psychotherapy in South Africa.
The mother of two wid and wonderful children, Deborah is passionate about creating the space for young people to express themselves while having fun. She believes embodiment and creativity are some of the important future skills.

Alexander du Plessis looks after Buzz Kidz Boland which includes Wellington, Paarl and Franschhoek.

Lizette Uys
Lizette Uys is the owner of Buzz Kidz Highveld which spans across Secunda, Middelburg, Standerton and surrounds. She studied drama at University of Stellenbosch, where she specialised in interactive theatre.
She has vast experience in teaching drama with her own company “Alight”. She combines drama techniques with counseling, enabling kids to grow and overcome possible emotional obstacles.

Eza holds a degree in Business Management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. With a strong passion for sales and management, Eza’s is a devoted mother of two and passionate about child development, believing deeply in the importance of unlocking creativity in young minds.

Jamie Willcox
Jamie Wilcox is a theatre maker and theatre educator from Salt Lake City, Utah. She has been the Artistic Director of a flourishing performing arts program for young people for fourteen years, as well as running her own creative arts and consultancy company for the last five years. In 2011, she graduated with an MA in Applied Theatre from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (London).
Jamie believes strongly in the magic and transformational power of theatre for participants and audience members of all ages. Having watched and marveled at the Buzz journey from afar since 2012, she is absolutely thrilled to now be a part of the family!
Ellen Hatch
Ellen is a dedicated educator with over a decade of classroom experience and a deep commitment to helping every student thrive. A graduate of the University of Utah with a degree in Elementary Education, Ellen has spent the last 10 years creating supportive, engaging learning environments where confidence and curiosity flourish.
Her teaching philosophy centers on building strong relationships, fostering student self-belief, and promoting a positive classroom culture. Ellen is passionate about empowering young learners and believes that every child deserves a space where they feel safe, seen, and inspired to grow.
